  • PhD candidate in Social and Policy Studies at the Department of Social and Policy Studies of University of Bath in the UK funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for 2017-2020.  Topic: Queer Politics in Conflict Transitions
  • Master of Social Sciences in Politics and International Studies, specializing in Peace and Conflict Research (2012-2014) at Uppsala University, Sweden
  • Bachelor of Arts International Relations, at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka (2006 -2010)

Research Interests

Post-war reconciliation and LGBTIQ rights, Negotiating intra-state conflicts, Domestic politics in negotiations, Peace agreements, Human rights
