{"id":1720,"date":"2026-07-30T04:03:52","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T04:03:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/bst\/?p=1720"},"modified":"2026-07-30T04:04:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T04:04:01","slug":"workshop-series-for-mphil-and-phd-programs-2025-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/bst\/index.php\/2026\/07\/30\/workshop-series-for-mphil-and-phd-programs-2025-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop Series for MPhil and PhD Programs 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Colombo, has introduced a series of specialized workshops to strengthen the research capacity and academic competencies of candidates enrolled in its MPhil and PhD programmes 2025.<\/p>\n<p>During the First Semester, participants successfully completed three workshop series:\u00a0<strong>Theravada Tradition: Belief and Practice<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Research Methodology for Buddhist Studies<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>English for Academic Purposes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Second Semester is currently in progress, offering advanced workshops on\u00a0<strong>Mahayana and Vajrayana Traditions: Belief and Practice<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Religious Traditions: Comparative Perspectives<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Philosophical Traditions: Comparative Perspectives<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Advanced Pali Readings<\/strong>.
