Students also have the option of discussing any academic issues they may face with their lecturers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ACADEMIC AND LANGUAGE SUPPORT CENTRE <\/strong>(Link to ALSC\u2019s website)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new Academic and Language Support Centre, established under the World Bank-supported AHEAD project (2019-21), fulfils the need in the Faculty in providing a structure to encourage students to read in English. The Centre promotes collaborative peer learning to strengthen student motivation to engage with English beyond the classroom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LANGUAGE LAB <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Language Lab of the Department of English Language Teaching has thirty computers, providing students with the opportunity for autonomous learning. Carefully selected and prepared computer-based study material is available in the Lab to be used by the undergraduates at their convenience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>RESOURCE LIBRARY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DELT Resource Library is located in the Visiting Lecturer\u2019s Staff Room #108, First Floor, Faculty of Arts. You may Contact your Faculty Coordinator if you wish to refer books from the Resource Library.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>COURSES FOR STUDENTS &amp; ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF (UPCOMING)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Department is currently designing a selection of online courses for students and administrative staff of the University of Colombo.
