Students who wish to follow four-year Econ special degree must select,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-634 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/econ\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/1st-year.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"839\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/econ\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/1st-year.jpg 839w, https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/econ\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/1st-year-300x71.jpg 300w, https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/econ\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/1st-year-768x181.jpg 768w, https:\/\/arts.cmb.ac.lk\/econ\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/1st-year-255x60.jpg 255w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 839px) 100vw, 839px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To read for a four year degree in Economics it is compulsory to obtain at least one (A-) and (B) grade for ECN 1101 and ECN 1201, and at least (A-) Grade for FND1106\/1206, and a minimum aggregate of 210 marks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study Stream Degree Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Undergraduate courses consist of three-year\u00a0<strong>Study Stream Degree (BA)<\/strong>\u00a0Programs and four-year <strong>Special Degree<\/strong> (BA Hons.) Programs.<\/p>\n<p>The duration of a general degree course is three years including the first year of study.
