Research Ethics Committee for Social Sciences and Humanities (RECSSH) in the Faculty of Arts is established to advise on ethical issues in research in the Faculty and to assess such proposals for approval.
The overall objectives of RECSSH are to

Protect the mental and physical wellbeing, rights, dignity and safety of persons and communities who participate in research as well as the researcher

Facilitate ethical research through efficient and effective reviewing and monitoring processes

Promote ethical stands of Social and Humanities and Review research and Humanities and

Review research in accordance with relevant national and national and international guidelines.
