These guidelines apply to all staff and students in the Faculty of Arts \/ University of Colombo and any other researcher outside the Faculty or University who seeks ethical clearance\/approval from the <\/span>RECSSH for their research. Only proposals within the scope of the Social Sciences and Humanities will be reviewed.<\/span><\/p>\n * Documents to be submitted: <\/b>a completed application, a Research Proposal \/ Protocol in English, and other relevant documents. These can include the following as necessary and should be in all relevant languages: Consent Forms, Information Sheets, Questionnaires\u00a0and Interview schedules\/guidelines, confidentiality agreements for transcribers\/interpreters, letters requesting permissions, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n * Sinhala\/Tamil translations <\/b>of all these documents except the Application Form and the Research Proposal, should be submitted along with the original document in English (if relevant).<\/span><\/p>\n
