The Department of History, University of Colombo has organized a mobile exhibition titled \u201c\u0dbd\u0d9a\u0dca<\/strong> \u200c<\/strong>\u0d89\u0dad\u0dd2\u0dc4\u0dcf\u0dc3\u0dba\u0da7<\/strong> \u0d9a\u0dc0\u0dd4\u0dc5\u0dd4\u0dc0\u0d9a\u0dca<\/strong>\u00a0\u201d.\u00a0This programme is organized as a part of the Centenary Celebrations of the University of Colombo (1921-2021).<\/p>\n

The exhibition’s main objective is to provide a critical overview of the historical evolution of Sri Lanka from the decline of the Polonnaruwa urban centre to the end of the British colonial rule in Sri Lanka in 1948.<\/p>\n

A Mobile Museum and a film screening are also part of the programme. The programme is organized in collaboration with the Colombo office of the GIZ Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n
