However, the book is not limited to IR and contains a multidisciplinary literature review on the matter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">First chapter of this book provides an introduction to the relevance of citizenship in International Relations (IR), followed by an overview of citizenship, ranging from the era of city-states up to contemporary times. Second chapter offers brief introductions to different categories of citizenship. Third chapter specifically pays attention to the (ir)relevance of traditional emphasis of citizenship on territoriality.
