This workshop was organized by the Department of Political Science and Public Policy in collaboration with International Foundation for Electoral Studies (IFES). The objective of the workshop was to enhance knowledge of political science final year students about the electoral processes and importance of civic engagements in politics.<\/h4>\n<h4>This event was addressed by Senior Prof (Chair) H.D. Karunarathne, Vice Chancellor of the University,\u00a0Senior Prof. Lasantha Manawadu, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Mr. Saman Sri Rathnayake, Commissioner General of Elections,\u00a0Mr.\u00a0D.M.
