This will be a one-day conference organized parallel to the 9th<\/sup> Annual Sinhala Studies Symposium, 2019. Selected best research projects of 4th<\/sup> year Sinhala honors students will be presented at the conference. The tentative schedule for this conference is mentioned below. The 9th<\/sup> Annual Sinhala Studies Symposium organized by the Department of Sinhala, University of Colombo, is scheduled to be held on December 04- 05, 2019 at the Department of Sinhala.<\/h4>\n

This year the conference theme is \u201cSinhala Studies: Past, Present, and Future<\/em><\/strong>\u201d and the event will be extended through a number of sub-themes enabling a participation of wide range of scholars from both academic and non-academic research contexts across number of subject disciplines.<\/h4>\n
