The Vice-Chancellor\u00a0of the University of Colombo will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. This year&#8217;s symposium will be held under the theme of\u00a0 &#8216;Academia&#8217;s Contribution to Sinhala Studies&#8217; to mark the centenary of teaching Humanities\u00a0and Social\u00a0Sciences in Higher Education. The keynote address will be delivered by\u00a0<b>Senior Professor W.M. Wijerathne,\u00a0<\/b>Department of Linguistics, University of Kelaniya.
