Talk by Lal Medawattegedara
Gratiaen Prize winner Lal Medawattegedara delivered a guest lecture on 30th June 2016 at 12pm at the Department of English during which he focused on his novel, Playing Pillow Politics at MGK. His talk drew on themes present in the novel, as well as on the process of imagining and writing the novel itself.
‘Superman’ – A play by undergraduates
The play Superman was written, directed, and staged by second and first year students of the Department of English in February 2016 at the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo.
