The Certificate Course in History was begun by the Department of History in March 2016, in order to facilitate external students who want to follow a foundation course in Historical Studies. While the course is aimed at secondary school teachers it also invites those who have an interest in understanding and learning new approaches to the History of Sri Lanka and the World.
