The Launch of the International Corpus of English – Sri Lanka (ICE – SL) took place on 14th November 2019 at Corpora, Archives and Performance: A Conference on Sri Lanka Languages and Literature organised by the Department of English, University of Colombo.
The Keynote Address titled ‘The Sri Lankan Component of the International Corpus of English: Structure, History, Use’ was delivered by Prof. Dr. Joybrato Mukherjee from Justus-Liebig University, Germany. The Keynote Address was followed by a Corpus Demonstration via video by Dr. Tobias Bernaisch from JLU, Giessen.
