Academic session - Chinese University of Hongkong

A group of Chinese students attached to the Buddhist Studies programme  of Chinese University of Hongkong, headed by professor Xueyu, went on a 10 days study tour to ancient Buddhist sites in the cultural triangle  in Sri Lanka, held an academic session with the students of the Department of Buddhist Studies at the University of Colombo, on the 20th December 2016. They made attractive group presentations at the session and participated in a valuable discussion with the audience. The session was chaired by Emeritus Professor Oliver Abenayaka and Emeritus Professor Rohini Paranawithana, Ven. Professor Madawacchiye Dhammajothi, Ven.Dr. Uduhawara Ananda, Dr. Wimal Hewamanage were also present
