2nd round of the scholarship programme (16.10.2024)
The Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Colombo organized the 2nd round of the scholarship programme for 1040 undergraduate students of the Faculty of Arts on 16.10.2024 at the NAT (National Arts Theatre) Auditorium. Each student received 7500 rupees and 46 disable students were given extra 2500 rupees. (7500+2500=10000).
These funds donated by Dr. Yanqiu, The president of GS Charity Foundation and its members with the advice of most Ven. Emeritus Prof. K.L. Dhammajoti Maha Thero, with the request by Senior Prof (Chair) Ven. M. Dhammajothi.
