Certificate Course in Applied Social Statistics | Call for Application
The Department of Demography of the Faculty of Arts will be conducting a 15 weeks (90 hours) certificate course in Applied Social Statistics. This course is specially designed for those who do not have prior knowledge of statistics but are required to apply statistical techniques for data analyses related to social aspects. The target group may include school leavers at Advance Level (A/L), undergraduates, graduates, professionals and others who are interested or obliged to gain knowledge to improve skills in social statistics.The programme will be conducted by Deshabandu Emeritus Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Professor (Chair) Sunethra J. Perera, Professor Manori K. Weeratunga and Dr. Rushan Abegunawardhana.
