Poster competition
A poster competition has been organized by the Department of Demography to commemorate world population day in 2023 and to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Department of Demography. The theme of the poster competition is “COVID-19 Impact on the health and rights of the population of Sri Lanka”. The selection rounds are open for all undergraduates following Arts honours or general degrees at any University in Sri Lanka.Students who have completed their final year examination are not eligible to participate in the competition.Each team must comprise three (03) to five (05) members.One student can participate in only one team.Selection rounds will be held from the 30th of June 2023 and the 03 winning teams will be invited to present their posters at the event of the Population Day Celebration.Please fill the table given below with your group details and, when submit the e- copy of your poster send it to worldpd2023@gmail.com or submit your hard copies to Department of Demography, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo on or before the 30th of June 2023.
