Guest Lecture on “African Slaves in Sri Lanka"

Ms. Nirosha Kulasekara, from the Student Counselor’s office was invited to give a Guest Lecture for Fourth Year International Relations students on 26th March 2019 (9-11 am).  She spoke on  “African Slaves in Sri Lanka”.

Ms. Kulasekara’s Masters thesis was based on the ‘“Descendants of ‘Afrikan Slaves’ in Sri Lanka”. She has provided historical and empirical evidence to support interesting findings and some aspects enriched in the discussion on human rights, history, violence, and slavery.
