Dinner-Time Dialogue – 19th Feb.
The dialogue session is a calendar programme of the Department of International Relations that aims to share knowledge on various expertise related to international relations. The sessions are generally scheduled in different time periods to make it convenient for the academic staff and outside experts to contribute in a flexible atmosphere. The first dialogue session for the year 2021 was held on 19th February 2021 from 6.30pm – 7.45pm via Zoom. The dialogue titled ‘Dinner-Time Dialogue for Experiencing Refugee Rights’ was held with the participation of Mr. S.C.C Elankovan, Consultant to the Chelvanayakam Charitable Foundation, and Mr. Ruki Fernando, Human Rights Defender, and Advisor to INFORM Human Rights Documentation Center. The Dialogue collaborated with the Refugee Advocates Group-Sri Lanka.
