Re-exploring South Asia- Guest Lecture by Dr. Pramod Jaiswal, Research Director at Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE)

The Department of International Relations along with the  Colombo International Relations Wing organized a guest lecture on Geopolitics of small states and India-China-Nepal Trilateralism and Small South Asian States amidst Great Power Rivalry on 30th March 2022.

The event was two fold; a tea-time dialogue with the academic staff of the Department of International Relations followed by a lecture for the undergraduates of the Department of International Relations.

The esteemed speaker of the guest lecture was Dr. Pramod Jaiswal highlighted the importance of identifying opportunities for cooperation and balancing threats within the region.

The event was attended by more than 35 participants both physically and virtually.
