IR Workshop on Enhancing Leadership Skills
A Workshop was organized by the department of International Relations with the initiation of Head of the Department Prof. Chaminda Padmakumara on “Enhancing Leadership Skills” for 2nd year undergraduates. It was held on 27th October 2022, from 9.00 am to 12.00 Noon, at Collaborative Active Learning Lab (CALL), funded by the World Bank Project AHEAD.
The two guest speakers Mr. Krishmal Fernando and Mr. Navam Niles spoke on the topics “Moving Beyond the ‘Traditional Undergraduate’ and ‘Opportunities in Sustainable Development’ respectively. The interactive workshop provided platform for experience sharing and advice on how to expand network, build personality, create opportunities, and inculcate leadership qualities as an undergraduate at the university.
