Independence Information and Ideas – Discussion Session
Ideas sharing session on independence was held from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm in parallel to the Independence Print Exhibition on 1st of February 2023 at the Faculty of Arts 2023.
Undergraduates of Department of International Relations organized and facilitated three sessions on collecting thoughts of undergraduates on what Independence means to them.
The third and the final session was an entertainment session where songs of independence were sung by the undergraduates and those who visited the exhibition.
While the exhibition showcased narratives of independence, the discussion sessions enabled collection of reflections from onlookers and undergraduates on the 75th anniversary of independence of Sri Lanka.
