Coastal Field work - Coastal Geomorphology

Coastal Field work under the subject of Coastal Geomorphology of the 3rd year undergraduates who are following the Special Degree in Geography, was successfully conducted on 05th February, 2017 at Kalido Beach Kaluthara. It was focused on identification of Geomorphological Units, Identification of Coastal Vegetation and measuring of wave characteristics along with sand sampling on the beach.

The field activities were conducted on the whole day by Prof. W.N Wilson and it was very successfull, specially to the students who wish to persue their higher studies in Geomorphology.
