42nd Programme of the GIS Short Course – 2018
The Department of Geography has successfully completed its 42nd Programme of the Short Course in Geographical Information Systems on 28th January 2018. It was an eight day (full day) training programme consist with introducing GIS for the young group of decision makers in coming from different fields.
Certificate awarding was held at the board room of the Department of Geography with the participation of professor Lasantha Manawadu, Head of the Department, senior professor S.A. Norbert, Ms. V.P.I.S. Wijeratne, Ms. M.A.D. Samanmali, Mr. S.M.A.T. de S. Nandaseela from the Department of Geography and Mr. Supun Siriwardhena from GIS Solutions (pvt.) Ltd.
