Workshop on Employability Enhancing Skills – 13th June
The Webinar held on 13th June 2020 from 8 am-4 pm on Employability Enhancing Skills concluded successfully with the participation of second-year undergraduates, 2018 batch in the International Relations Special Degree Programme. The webinar included interactive sessions on leadership skills, employability soft skills, and acapella-voice training. Plenary sessions were on voice coaching, documentation and logistics, and creativity & protocol. The resource persons were Mr. Isuru Samarage, Head/Mobility Solutions, Toyota Lanka, Dr.(Mrs) Buddhima Subasinghe, Head/Computer Science, NIBM, Mr. Shivantha Fernando, Vocalist & Musician of Marians Group and Dr. Maneesha Wanasinghe-Pasqual, Mr. Chaminda Padmakumara, Mrs. Menik Wakkumbura, Mr. Shakthi de Silva and Ms. Asha Thrishali from the Department of International Relations.
The webinar also opened a venue for an experience sharing session conducted by the Fourth years of 2016 batch of International Relations Special Degree Programme.
The event is an initiative of the World Bank-AHEAD Project.
