The Department of Geography has well-equipped Soil Laboratory donated by NUFFIC (Netherlands Universities Fund for International Cooperation). Under this link programme several members of the academic staff were sent to the Netherlands to obtain their post graduate qualifications and to update their knowledge. The Technical Officers were also obtained training under this NUFFIC programe, from the Netherlands, to conduct this soils laboratory well.
