International Conference on Geography for Global Sustainability -(ICGGS- 2025)
(2nd International Research Symposium)
The International Research Symposium of the Department of Geography, University of Colombo, ICGGS- 2025, was held on March 07, 2025. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Senior Professor (Chair) H. D. Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor, University of Colombo, and Key note speaker, Prof. Regina Scheyvens, Massey University, New Zealand. The inauguration ceremony was followed by four technical sessions and a guest lecture. The guest lecture was held under the topic “Tips for your research publication journey” and conducted by Dr.Chathu Jayakody, School of built environment, Birmingham University. Technical sessions were held virtually in the morning from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and in the afternoon from 2.30 to 4.00 p.m.
