The Inauguration Ceremony of MA in Sinhala Programme (2021/2022 batch) – 19th March
The inaugural ceremony of the Master of Arts in Sinhala 2021/2022 programme conducted by the Department of Sinhala, University of Colombo was held on 19th March 2022 at the New Arts Theatre, University of Colombo from 9.00 am – 1.00 pm. Senior Professor Lasantha Manawadu, Dean| Arts graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Mohammed Mahees, Senior Lecturer | Dept of Sociology delivered the Keynote Address. Professor Sandagomi Coperahewa, Head |Sinhala and Co-ordinator of MA in Sinhala programme, and academic staff members of the Department of Sinhala and selected students of the course participated at this event.
