Walk-In Interview Series Organized by Career Guidance Unit, Faculty of Arts in collaboration with Olanka Travels (Pvt.) Limited
The Career Guidance Unit of the Faculty of Arts, in collaboration with Olanka Travels (Pvt.) Limited, successfully organized a Walk-In Interview on the 12th of September 2024 at the Faculty Board Room for the second consecutive time. Olanka Travels (Pvt.) Limited, a highly regarded travel company based in Sri Lanka, which has an extensive network of branches in several other countries.
The purpose of the Walk-In Interview was to specifically provide undergraduates of the Faculty of Arts, with opportunities for internships, full-time positions, and part-time employment within Olanka Travels (Pvt.) Limited. Approximately 60 enthusiastic undergraduates actively participated in this invaluable opportunity to engage with representatives from the esteemed travel company.
This collaborative initiative aimed to bridge the gap between academic field and industry, fostering a platform where students could explore and seize potential career paths within the dynamic field of travel and tourism. The event not only served as a means for students to showcase their skills and capabilities but also allowed Olanka Travels (Pvt.) Limited to identify and recruit talented individuals who align with their organizational goals.
