Computer Lab Facilities

The Department of Information has fully functioning computer labs both for teaching, training, and students’ use. Altogether, the labs consist of over 200 computers equipped with required hardware and software facilities as well as internet connections. The labs are fully air-conditioned and furnished with required multimedia for teaching and training activities.

There are altogether 5 labs in the faculty maintained by the Department of Information Technology. These laboratories provide comprehensive services for the students and the faculty staff.

• The former Student Computer Unit (SCU) Laboratory 1 has now been renamed as Lab 1
• The former Student Computer Unit (SCU) Laboratory 2 has now been renamed as Lab 2
• The former IDAS Laboratory has now been renamed as Lab 3
• The former Computer Teaching Unit (CTU) Laboratory has now been renamed as Lab 4
• Room No. 310 has also been assigned to the IT Department and has been renamed as Lab 5

Intensive Course for Freshers

The Department’s academic staff is conducting a Intensive course for incoming undergraduates to enhance their IT skills and prepare them for the compulsory IT admission test, which must be completed prior to the commencement of their academic studies.
