Honorary Degree in Academic Excellece to Senior Professor Medawachchiye Dhammajothi Thero
The title of ‘Aggamaha Ganthavaachaka Panditha’, an honorary degree conferred on a Theravada Buddhist monk of academic excellence by the Government of Myanmar is conferred on the Most Ven. Senior Professor Medawachchiye Dhammajothi Thero, Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Colombo on 04th January 2022.
Currently Ven. Senior Professor Medawachchiye Dhammajothi Thero is the Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies (PGIPBS), University of Kelaniya.
