Inaugural Ceremony of Master of Sinhala 2023/24 batch

The inaugural ceremony of the Master of Sinhala 2023/24 program, organized by the Department of Sinhala at the University of Colombo, was held on July 27, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at the M.B. Ariyapala Auditorium. A well-known Sinhala scholar, Mr. Srinath Ganewatta, the current President of the Hela Havula movement, delivered the keynote address. The Head of the Department of Sinhala and Coordinator of the Master of Sinhala program, Senior Professor (Chair) Sandagomi Coperahewa, Emeritus Professor Rohini Paranavitana, former Professor Sarath Wijesooriya, and several other staff members and students participated in this event.
