Inauguration Ceremony – Masters in Buddhist Studies – 21st July
The inauguration ceremony of the Masters in Buddhist Studies (2018/2019) which is conducted by the Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Colombo, was held on 21st July 2018.
Ven. Prof. M. Dhammajothi Thera, Head – Department of Buddhist Studies delivered the welcome speech. The Invited Speaker was Prof. Kapila Abhayawansa, Vice Rector – International Buddhist College (Thailand). Prof Premakumara De Silva, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Prof. W. Wimalarathana Thera, Head – Department of Economics also delivered lectures on this occasion and Dr. Wimal Hewamanage, Senior Lecturer – Department of Buddhist Studies delivered vote of thanks.
