Inauguration of the Chinese Language Training Programme for Sri Lanka Police Academy – 6th July

The Inauguration Ceremony of the second batch of the Chinese Language Training Program for Police Academy was held at National Police Academy, Aththidiya Wing on 6th July 2022, with the participation of Senior Professor Lasantha Manawadu, Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo, Mr. Yan Haisheng, the Police Counsellor, Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka, Mr. Sajeewa Medawatta, Executive Director of National Police Academy and Prof. Wimal Hewamanage, the Director of Confucius Institute, and professor Ma Zhongwu, China Director, joined the occasion via Online.

Altogether 25 male and female police officers from different administrative regions of Sri Lanka participated in this course and this program covered the basic Chinese language skills, practices dialogs, and Chinese culture.
