Welcome to the IDC

The IDC is the central hub for managing all student academic information at the University of Colombo. Students are kindly requested to notify the IDC immediately of any changes to their personal or academic records.

All official communication between students and the IDC is conducted through the university-provided official email address. Please note that the IDC does not respond to or communicate via personal email accounts.

At the start of each academic year, students must register for their course units using the Student Information System (SIS). The SIS also allows students to register for end-semester examinations and access their lecture and examination timetables.

For detailed guidance on the course unit system and degree programmes, undergraduate students are encouraged to consult Dr. Pathmakumara Jayasinghe, Academic Counsellor and Coordinator of the IDC.
