Launching of two academic publications in honour of Professor Ananda Tissa Kumara

Senior Professor Samantha Herath and Senior Professor Premakumara de Silva have edited two academic publications in honour of Professor Ananda Tissa Kumara who served for more than 34 years to the University of Colombo. Out of these two publications, one publication titled  ‘Ananda Tissa Kumara Pratheekshana Prasadana’  is a compilation of scholarly articles related  to the area of research interest of Professor Ananda Tissa Kumara and also on his contribution. The other one titled ‘Ananda Tissa Kumara Virachitha Shasthreeya Lekhana Samahara’  is a compilation of research articles written by Professor Ananda Tissa Kumara for various academic publications through out his academic career.

Both publications have been compiled and published with the corporation of  the family members of Professor Tissa Kumara. These two publications will be launched at the felicitation ceremony which will be held on 08.01.2026 at the NAT.
