Community Outreach Programmes
The students of the Social Work Stream engage in various community outreach programmes to practice what they learn in classrooms.
Linkages with the community in 2018 are as follows,
- Victoria Home for people with physical disabilities, Rajagiriya
- National Institute for Mental Health, Angoda and Mulleriyawa
- Positive Women’s Network (for people living with HIV), Rajagiriya
- Gamini Matha Home for Elders, Colombo 2
- Kirulapura low-income settlement, Kirulapana
- Mihindusenpura resettlement, Dematagoda
- Fairline Road, Dehiwala fishing community resettlement
