“සුපෝෂී ව්‍යාපෘතිය (Suposhi project)” at the Faculty of Arts - 01st Nov.

Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo in partnership with Sarvodaya and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is launching the ‘Youth Wellness Program’ to support undergraduates to improve their wellbeing during these crisis times.

The first project “සුපෝෂී” (Suposhi) under this program to distribute free glass of milk among undergraduates of the faculty, was launched on November 1, 2022 at the faculty premises.  The project was launched with the participation of the Senior Professor H.D. Karunaratne – Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo,  Mr. Edwards – Registrar, Senior Professor Lasantha Manawadu – Dean – Faculty of Arts, Deans from other faculties, Heads of Departments, students, academic and non-academic staff.  A ‘Youth Wellness Center’ will be established very soon at the faculty premises.
