Webinar on ‘වර්තමාන ආර්ථීක අර්බුදය හමුවේ ශ්රී ලංකාවේ අනාගතය සහ ප්රායෝගික විසඳුම්’- 23rd March
This timely important event was organized by the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo in order to make a comprehensive discussion about the possible short term plus long-term solutions for the ongoing economic crisis and meltdown impasses of Sri Lanka. The event was held on 23rd of March, 2022, at 07:00 PM onwards.
As the panelists, Senior Prof. Sirimal Abeyrathne (UOC); Dr. Priyanga Dunusinghe (UOC); Prof. O.G. Dayarathna Banda (University of Peradeniya), Dr. Chandika Gunasinghe (University of Ruhuna) contributed. Senior Professor H.D. Karunarathne (The present Vice Chancellor, University of Colombo) contributed, as the moderator of the discussion/webinar. It was greatly appreciated their precious contribution made on this event. Moreover, the panelists explained the reasons and the causative factors for the current economic crisis of Sri Lanka and also possible solutions for the future. More than 125 participants attended the seminar. The event was conducted online/virtual mode.
