Sri Lankan Muslims in a Plural Society
The Organizing Committee of the 1st Symposium on Islamic Studies -2019 invites researchers to submit abstracts for the symposium to be held in Arabic & Islamic Civilization Unit, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo. The objectives of Symposis2019 is to bring together academics, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of the lives of Sri Lankan Muslims.
The theme is broad enough to cover a range of areas such as development studies, economy, education, gender studies, history, international relations, political trends, religious tolerance, socio-culture and technology.
Presenters may discuss theoretical issues or empirical case studies revolving around the given themes in Arabic, English, Sinhala or Tamil.
Accepted abstracts for the Symposis2019 will be published in the conference abstract book with an associated ISSN XXXXXX. Selected full papers will be submitted to university journals for possible indexing.
