Awards Ceremony – Extension Courses in English – 20th Dec.
The Annual Awards Ceremony of the Department of English, Extension Courses in English was held on Wednesday, 20th December 2017 at 12.30 pm at the New Arts Theatre (NAT), University of Colombo. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ms. Lakmini Wijesundera, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Iron One Technologies and BoardPAC. The Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Bursar and Deans of the faculties of the University of Colombo were graced this occasion.
The following Diplomas were awarded: The Diploma in Advanced English for Administration and Academic Purposes (DAE), The Diploma in English for Teachers of English (DETE), and The Diploma in English for English Medium Instruction Teachers (DEEMIT). This ceremony was for the graduating students of the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 batches of the Extension Courses in English, Department of English, University of Colombo.
