Beyond Limits – Mastering Multitasking An Inspirational Talk by a True Multitasker

The Career Guidance Unit of the Faculty of Arts organized a motivational guest lecture on January 30, 2025, titled ‘Beyond Limits – Mastering Multitasking’ with the participation of about 100 undergraduates of the faculty.
The resource person Mr.Hemantha Boteju, a professional in the banking sector, is a proud graduate in International Relations from the University of Colombo. He is also a poet, author, motivational speaker, and the 99th ODI player of the Sri Lankan cricket team. During the session, he provided practical strategies for balancing multiple tasks efficiently without compromising quality. He emphasized the importance of prioritization, focus, and structured
planning in managing academic and professional responsibilities.
The interactive session featured real-life examples and a Q&A discussion, making it highly engaging and beneficial for students. The lecture concluded with valuable insights on managing workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment, equipping undergraduates with essential skills for both their academic journey and future careers. The organizing committee for this guest lecture included Dr. Shashini Ranabahu, Co-Director of the Career Guidance Unit, along with Mr. Osanda Gunarathne and Rev. M. Amarawansa Thero, members of the CGU Working Committee.
