Delegates from Sichuan University, China visit the Department of IR

A group of scholars and students from the Institution of Asian studies, China visited the Department of International Relations on 14th of July 2023. This team was led by Associate Professor Zeng Xiangyu of Institution of Asian studies, Sichuan University, China. During the visit, the delegates engaged in a productive discussion with the staff and students of the Department of International Relations. The Head of the Department, Professor Chaminda Padmakumara warmly welcomed the delegates and highlighted the significance of   bi-lateral relations between China and Sri Lanka. He also emphasized the significance of higher education sector and research collaboration in enhancing existing cooperation    between two nations. The meeting served as an important flatform to exchange ideas and valuable insights about the contemporary China – Sri Lanka relations.
