Call for papers – Kolamba Peer-reviewed Sinhala Journal (‘කොළඹ’ ශාස්ත්රීය සංග්රහය) – 15th June
The Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo is planning to publish an annual peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary Sinhala journal titled Kolamba (‘කොළඹ’ ශාස්ත්රීය සංග්රහය) to foster high – quality Sinhala research papers in the fields of humanities and social sciences. At present, there is no peer-reviewed Sinhala journal for the dissemination of ideas in the disciplines of humanities and social sciences, and there is a need to provide a scholarly forum for Sinhala research papers. This new journal will be exclusively devoted to the publication of scholarly and original research articles written in Sinhala from the academic community and outside scholars. The journal is committed to an editorial policy of language editing with a view to maintaining high scholarly standards. The journal will consist of an Advisory Board, Editor in Chief, Editorial Board and a Book Review Editor.
