Mobile Exhibition – “ලක් ඉතිහාසයට කවුළුවක්” 14th – 22nd Feb.
The Department of History, University of Colombo has organized a mobile exhibition titled “ලක් ඉතිහාසයට කවුළුවක් ”. This programme is organized as a part of the Centenary Celebrations of the University of Colombo (1921-2021).
The exhibition’s main objective is to provide a critical overview of the historical evolution of Sri Lanka from the decline of the Polonnaruwa urban centre to the end of the British colonial rule in Sri Lanka in 1948.
A Mobile Museum and a film screening are also part of the programme. The programme is organized in collaboration with the Colombo office of the GIZ Sri Lanka.
